Popular Maths Tutor brings Oxbridge education to all with launch of new online platform
A popular Maths tutor with a proven track record in helping students excel at GCSE and A Level is bringing Oxbridge education to all with the launch of new online education platform, MyOxbridgeTutor.
An experienced Accountant, Actuary and full time Maths Tutor, Kevin Holdstock launched his own tutoring business in 2012 and over the last 12 years has helped hundreds of students achieve their full potential through dedicated one-to-one support.
In seeing first-hand the growing numbers of parents investing in private tutors to help their children achieve desired grades for GCSE and A Levels, Kevin launched My Oxbridge Tutor with one clear aim: To bring an Oxbridge education to all students regardless of their academic ability, goals or objectives.
Underpinned by an advanced tech platform and over 150+ Oxbridge educated Tutors, who are either studying or have studied at Cambridge or Oxford University, MyOxbridgeTutor enables students to prepare for any GCSE or A Level subject, with lessons tailored to the right curriculum, exam board and individual requirements.
Since launch, the unique tutoring service has already received excellent reviews, with its world class online ‘classroom’ able to host 1-2-1 lessons for thousands of students at one time, all from the comfort of their own homes.
Kevin Holdstock, Founder and Director of MyOxbridgeTutor, confirmed: “According to recent research, at least 25% of parents invest in private tuition to aid their child’s education – particularly when it comes to GCSE’s and A Levels. This figure is only likely to rise in the coming years, not only due to fierce competition for top University places, but also as growing numbers of children are likely to leave private education with the introduction of VAT on school fees.
MyOxbridgeTutor was founded to provide students – and their parents – with access to pre-vetted, Oxbridge educated Tutors, who are specialists in their topics and are able to help students excel in subjects they need help with most. While our tutors can certainly support students with Oxbridge and other University applications, the service has predominantly been designed to provide access to a top-level education all at an affordable cost.
I am delighted with the positive response we have received to date and look forward to helping more and more students shape their future this academic year.”
From year 10 and 11 GCSE courses to A-Level revision, university entrance exams and application support, My Oxbridge Tutor offers regular weekly or ad hoc sessions over 60 different subjects.
